ICSG: Estimated Supply Shortage of Global Copper Concentrates to be 151,000 Tonnes in 2017

International Copper Study Group (ICSG) says, the estimated supply shortage of global copper concentrates is 151,000 tonnes in 2017 and the figure in 2018 will be 104,000 tonnes.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 25 (SMM)-International Copper Study Group (ICSG) says, the estimated supply shortage of global copper concentrates is 151,000 tonnes in 2017 and the figure in 2018 will be 104,000 tonnes. The estimated copper mine output in 2018 will reach 20,311 thousand tonnes and the copper concentrates output in 2018 will be 24,179 thousand tonnes. The copper concentrates consumption in 2018 will be 4,283 thousand tonnes.
