Imported Zinc Concentrates Drops 15.2% MoM, How’s Domestic Stock Prepared in Winter?

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China’s imported zinc concentrates in September reaches 192,427 metallic tonnes, dropping 15.2% MoM, rising 38.9% YoY.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 24 (SMM)－According to China's General Administration of Customs, China’s imported zinc concentrates in September reaches 192,427 metallic tonnes, dropping 15.2% MoM, rising 38.9% YoY. As per SMM research, China’s zinc concentrates output in September reaches 378,000 metallic tonnes, with limited increase in mines side. Besides, domestic smelting plants have been in winter stock, with large demand for mine but short supply. SMM estimates the treatment charge in November will keep a low level.
