Southern Electrolytic Manganese Plants to Recover Production, with 19th CPC National Congress Closing

The special regulation on mines will be lifted from 0 AM, Oct.26th due to the 19th CPC National Congress.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 24 (SMM)-In the morning of Oct.24th, the closing session of the 19th CPC National Congress was held. As per requirement of main producing provinces’ government of manganese ore, the special regulation on mines will be lifted from 0 AM, Oct.26th due to the 19th CPC National Congress. One large-scale electrolytic manganese plants in Hubei Province interviewed by SMM says, due to short supply of mines, its daily output of electrolytic manganese has reduced to half of normal level this week. After the special regulation is lifted, it still need some time to restart the production work. It is estimated to recover production at the end of this month.
