Shanxi Introduces its Production Limit Plan: Effecting 110,000 Tonnes Capacity of Electrolytic Aluminium

Shanxi Province introduced its action plan of air pollution control during autumn and winter of 2017-2018.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 23 (SMM)－Shanxi Province introduced its action plan of air pollution control during autumn and winter of 2017-2018, asking “4+2” cities to require their electrolytic aluminium plants to limit their production by 30%, calculated by number of suspended electrolyzers. SMM learned totally 110,000 capacity of electrolytic aluminium including Shanxi Jinneng Group New Oriental Aluminium Co., Taiyuan Donglv Aluminium Co., Shanxi Zhaofeng Co. will stagger its production during heating season.
