Tangshan City Reinforcing Emission Reduction Measures

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (SMM)－Tangshan City of Hebei Province will reinforce its emission reduction measures from Oct.20^th to 21^st, requiring all steel plants using sintering machines of devitrification in wet process and all shaft furnaces should stop production, using sintering machines of devitrification in semi-dry process should limit production by 50%. Meanwhile, collecting and distributing vehicles at port are banned to enter or exit port area. Those measures will continue to be acted after 8 am, Oct.21^st.
