Slight Drop in Zinc Price, Why are Plants Reluctant to Sell Out?

This day see a continuous slight drop of the zinc price but zinc slag has some resistance against drop.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 17 (SMM)－This day see a continuous slight drop of the zinc price but zinc slag is somewhat resistant to price drop. As per SMM knowledge, on one hand, with price drop, zinc-coating plants are reluctant to sell out. On the other hand, with the North green policies and the 19^th CPC National Congress, some north zinc-coating plants are estimated to suspend or reduce production. SMM predicts the supply of zinc slag will continue to be tight, with high price.
