Zhou Xiaochuan: Estimated 7% GDP Growth for China during Second Half of the Year

We see a 6.8% GDP growth in first half of the year, which is estimated to reach 7% during the second half of the year.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 16 (SMM)-Zhou Xiaochuan, president of central bank of China, said on 2017 G30 International banking seminar, over past few years see a continuous slowing down of China’s economic growth, which drops from previous over 10% to around 8% in 2012, and continues to drop to 6.7% in 2016, But impetus of economic growth has been recovered to some extent since this year. We see a 6.8% GDP growth in first half of the year, which is estimated to reach 7% during the second half of the year.
