Domestic Unwrought Aluminium Export Drops 5.1% in September

SHANGHAI, Oct. 16 (SMM)－The domestic export of unwrought Aluminium and aluminium material drops 5.1% to 370 thousand tonnes in September compared to same time of last year, dropping 40 thousand tonnes compared with last month, which is the third consecutive monthly decline. From January to September, the domestic export of unwrought Aluminium and aluminium material reaches 3.66 million tonnes, increasing 5.5% on year-to-year basis. Influenced by rise of SHFE & LME Aluminium ratio, the export figure shrinks rapidly. SMM knows from October, the export orders of domestic Aluminium processing enterprises keep weak. With the high SHFE & LME Aluminium ratio, it is hard to recover for the export increase.
