Guizhou Implements Special Control for Civil Explosives, Local Manganese Plants Probably being Affected

SHANGHAI, Oct. 13 (SMM)－On Oct.11^th, Public Security Department of Guizhou Province released Notice of Implementation of Special Control for Civil Explosives, stipulating with the upcoming 19^th CPC National Congress, from Oct.15^th to 26^th, special control measures will be taken for civil explosives across the province. During this time, blasting construction should be stopped in principle and civil explosives are prohibited to be transported within the province. Under influence of the policy, some electrolytic manganese plants will suspend production or operate at low capacity from next week.
