SHANGHAI, Oct. 13 (SMM)-Chile copper mine Escondida, subsidiary of BHP Billiton, produced 97,800 tonnes copper in August, setting record high since June, 2015. With launch or restart of new supply plants, copper may become something of surplus supply next year.
