Zambia's Mining Minister Christopher Yaluma said the country’s copper output would surge by 200 per cent over the period of 2000-2016.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 12 (SMM) – Zambia's Mining Minister Christopher Yaluma said the country’s copper output would surge by 200 per cent over the period of 2000-2016 thanks to favorable investment environment and rising copper price.

Zambia Copper Exports to Reach 1 Mln tonnes in Coming Years

Zambia’s output will grow from 226,804 tonnes to 770,587 tonnes over the period.
