SHANGHAI, Oct. 12 (SMM) – LME zinc is expected to move between USD 3,205-3,245/mt today. US PPI and the number of initial jobless claims last week due for release today are promising, pointing to steady economy in the US. SHFE 1712 zinc will fluctuate between RMB 25,740-26,150/mt today, with spot prices RMB 360-440/mt above SHFE 1711 zinc.
LME Zinc to Meet upward Pressure (2017-10-12)
LME zinc is expected to move between USD 3,205-3,245/mt today.

After the opening, SHFE zinc dipped to a low of 23,490 yuan/mt. Subsequently, bears reduced their open interest, and the SHFE zinc price center rose, touching a high of 23,730 yuan/mt near the close. It finally settled up at 23,730 yuan/mt, gaining 140 yuan/mt or 0.59%. Trading volume increased to 50,241 lots, while open interest decreased by 3,742 lots to 78,313 lots.....
