Mining industry gained 324.89 billion profit, rising 5.9 times during January to August compared with same period of last year.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 11 (SMM)－Mining industry gained 324.89 billion profit, rising 5.9 times during January to August compared with same period of last year. Ferrous metals smelting and rolling processing industry rose 44.8%, general equipment industry rose 16.9%, specialized equipment industry rose 22.7%, and automobile industry rose 11.7%.

China’s rare earth mining and smelting/separation quotas stood at 168,000 mt and 162,000 mt respectively in 2021, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
