SHANGHAI, Oct. 9 (SMM) – Rio Tinto is considering the sale of the largest aluminum smelter in Europe as aluminum prices are rebounding.
The company intends to sell the aluminum smelter in Dunkirk, France with a capacity of 270,000 tonne per annum.
Meanwhile, it is trying to sell the 205,000 tonne per annum aluminum smelter in Iceland and assets in Pacific Aluminum.
