West China City to Carry out Ten Measures for Air Pollution Control

SHANGHAI, Sept. 30 (SMM)－Chengdu is going to carry out ten major measures to prevent and control air pollution during autumn and winter. For coping measure for heavily-polluted weather, the city will complete revision work of emergency plan for heavily-polluted weather by Oct.15th, which clarifies launching condition for emergency alert, emission-reduction ratio, and carry out production suspension or production limit to achieve emergency emission-reduction. Peak shifting production is adopted for those industries with huge surplus capacity. Emergency measure of “One Policy for One Plant” should be adopted by enterprises by Oct.30th. (Chengdu Evening)
