China is launching research on schedule of ban for traditional petrol vehicles, same as many other countries in the world, but this does not mean ban for sales in the future.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 29 (SMM)-News from the briefing of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: China is launching research on schedule of ban for traditional petrol vehicles, same as many other countries in the world, but this does not mean ban for sales in the future. Whether it is to be banned, when to be banned, how to be banned remains to be studied. Dong Yang, standing vice-chairman of China Automotive Industry Association says even if the sales ban is carried out in the future, the target are pure petrol vehicles. For the long term to go, the main vehicle power is still supplied by internal combustion engine. (Xinhua News)
