SHANGHAI, Sept. 29 (SMM)－Copper mine Escondida in north Chile, subordinate of BHP Billiton, outputs 327,863 tonnes for first half of the year. Copper concentrates output for first half of the year is 237,891 tonnes, declining 35.7% compared with last year. Cathode copper output is 89,972 tonnes, dropping 47.1% compared with the same period of last year. The major cause of dropping output is strike. (Mandarin Financial)
