China’s financial market will come under heavy pressure from money withdrawals in the first week after the 2017 Chinese National Day holiday.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 29 (SMM) – China’s financial market will come under heavy pressure from money withdrawals in the first week after the 2017 Chinese National Day holiday.

The country’s financial market will be closed during Oct. 1-8 for Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, so maturing of capital will be delayed to Oct. 9.

A staggering 956.65 billion yuan of money from open market, MLF and Interbank negotiable certificates of deposit will mature during Oct. 9-15.
