One large steel plant in North China released its inquiries for SiMn alloy in October which are much lower than suppliers’ acceptable price.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 29 (SMM) – One large steel plant in North China released its inquiries for SiMn alloy in October which are much lower than suppliers’ acceptable price.

The steel plants’ offers are at 7,500 yuan per tonne (price to factory, by acceptance), and its suppliers did not agree on such low prices.

Sluggish ZCE SiMn prices fueled market pessimism toward the market after China’s National Day holiday.
