Most lead smelters in China will maintain normal production during the National Day Holiday which is during October 1-7, SMM survey finds.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 29 (SMM) – Most lead smelters in China will maintain normal production during the National Day Holiday which is during October 1-7, SMM survey finds.

China to Scrap Massive Motive Batteries by 2020

Some smelters have presold under small orders for delivery during the holiday, and some held some inventory for delivery in October.

China Battery Manufacturers to Halt Production for National Day Holiday

Industry insiders, especially smelters of deliverable brands, are still bullish toward lead prices in the near term.
