China Tin Ore Imports Fall 49.2 Per cent YoY in August, and Refined Tin Exports Edge up MoM

China imported 19,519 tonnes of tin ore in August, down 23.9 per cent MoM, and 49.2 per cent YoY, according to China Customs.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (SMM) – China imported 19,519 tonnes of tin ore in August, down 23.9 per cent MoM, and 49.2 per cent YoY, according to China Customs.

China’s tin ore imports totaled 185,000 tonnes during the first eight months of the year, down 43.8 per cent on a yearly basis, the data showed.

In August, China exported 358 tonnes of refined tin, up 6 tonnes from July’s, and exports from January to August were 1,256 tonnes, up 73.2 per cent on a yearly basis, based on China Customs.
