Chinese Secondary Aluminum Producers Suffer from Sluggish Automobile Market, SMM Reports

SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (SMM) – Unlike in years past, most secondary aluminum producers reported no big increase in orders from die-castings producers, despite nearing of 2017 Chinese National Day holiday (Oct. 1-7).

This is because poor automobile market hurt demand for die-castings, SMM explained. 

Some die-castings producers will close during the week-long holiday.
