SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (SMM) – The State Council is expected to leave environmental protection measures strict at its press conference today. Gfk Octoebr CCI for Germany, eurozone September economic and industrial sentiment index due for release today are expected to stay low. SHFE 1801 nickel will fluctuate between RMB 82,800-83,800/mt today, with spot prices between RMB 83,400-84,400/mt.

SMM forecasts a marginal softening in the Indonesian domestic nickel ore benchmark (HPM) for the first half of April 2026, with prices expected to decline by 1.37%.
