Aluminum processors in east China are in a rush to make purchases on Wednesday morning for upcoming 2017 Chinese National Day holiday (Oct. 1-7) now that aluminum prices have fallen back.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 27 (SMM) – Aluminum processors in east China are in a rush to make purchases on Wednesday morning for upcoming 2017 Chinese National Day holiday (Oct. 1-7) now that aluminum prices have fallen back.

This allowed spot discounts to narrow 30 yuan/tonne from yesterday to 180-200 yuan/tonne over SHFE 1710 aluminum.
