Environmental Drive Also Affects New Capacity in Aluminum Processing Sector

SHANGHAI, Sept. 26 (SMM) – China has stepped up its efforts on environmental protection inspections since the beginning of the year.

One Aluminum Plant in Guangxi to Restart Production Soon

In domestic aluminum processing industry, the environmental drive not only affect online capacity, but also new projects. 

SMM learns that some newly-added projects have been called off by local governments. In Shandong, one aluminum processing company’s 2nd phase project is one of examples, and the project is not expected to come on stream in the short term.
