SHANGHAI, Sept. 25 (SMM) –Recently Shandong Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology together with Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission released Emergency Notice on Assuring Normal Production and Operation of Companies with Provincial Directly Dispatched Power. The notice says according to some power-generating companies like Guodian, Huaneng, Shengli, Shenhua and Datang, cities or counties (districts) including Liaocheng, Dezhou, Dongying, Weifang dispatch working team to companies with provincial directly dispatched power and restrict raw materials of desulphurization and denitrification from entering plant, in order to complete reduction task of coal consumption, which intervenes in normal production of those companies, resulting in outage of quite a few high-capacity efficient generating sets and affecting stable and reliable power supply of the entire province. Leading comrades of the provincial government made special instructions that pointed out above measures were quite inappropriate, which not only concealed contradictions between backward capacity that should be eliminated and coal-fired boilers, but also affected normal operation of the grid, which should be rectified immediately.
