SHANGHAI, Sept. 22 (SMM) - Hechi City has phased out massive nonferrous metals capacity from 2012.

WBMS: World Copper Deficit Intensifies Sharply during Jan-Jul

About 306,800 tonnes of lead smelting capacity located at 16 smelters were eliminated.

WBMS: World Zinc Deficit Deteriorates Drastically during Jan-Jul

Besides, 83,000 tonnes of ferroalloy and 155,000 tonnes of zinc smelting capacity were also phased out.
