Iron Ore Leads Losses among Ferrous Metals; Nonferrous Metals Show Mixed Performances

Iron ore was the worst performer among ferrous metals today, while nonferrous metals showed mixed performances.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21 (SMM) – Iron ore was the worst performer among ferrous metals today, while nonferrous metals showed mixed performances.

Iron ore closed the day down nearly 5%, while rebar and hot-rolled coil lost more than 2%. Coking coal and coke prices hit new lows.

Base metals on the SHFE performed not as well as before.
