Two Major Steel Mills Hike SiMn Alloy Prices for September and October Delivery

Two major steel mills hiked SiMn alloy purchasing prices for September and October delivery.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21 (SMM) – Two major steel mills hiked SiMn alloy purchasing prices for September and October delivery.

Xinxing Pipes issued extra tender to buy SiMn alloy for delivery in late Sept, with purchasing volume at 2,000 tonnes. The purchasing price was up 250 yuan/tonne from early Sept. to 7,950 yuan/tonne (delivery to factory, by acceptance).

Wuhan Iron & Steel finalized SiMn alloy purchasing prices for delivery in Oct. at 7,900 yuan/tonne (delivery to factory, by acceptance), up 300 yuan/tonne from Sept. Purchasing volume was 3,600 tonnes.
