SHANGHAI, Sept. 20 (SMM) – Recently, the number of silicon metal producers which halt production is increasing in Yunnan’s Dehong, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

Some Silicon Metal Plants Halt Production in Fujian, SMM Reports

There are four producers in the region having suspended production, and these producers mainly produce oxygen-free and oxygen high-grade silicon metal. The number of online furnaces is down from two to one.
