Traders Seeking Chinese Buyers for Indonesia Bauxite after Export Ban Relaxation

Two Indonesian firms have obtained bauxite export quotas.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 19 (SMM) – Two Indonesian firms have obtained bauxite export quotas.

PT Antam and PT Dinamika Sejahtera Mandiri have obtained 850,000 tonnes and 2.4 million tonnes of bauxite export quotas, respectively.

SMM learns that one ship of bauxite will depart from Indonesia in September and arrive at China in October.

Hence, Chinese traders are seeking buyers for Indonesian ore.
