SHANGHAI, Sept. 18 (SMM) – Copper demand in China rose significantly in recent years along with economic growth, said Zhou Sheng, International Copper Association (ICA)’s President for China.

China’s copper demand was 12.60 million tonnes in 2016, with its share to global demand up from 20% in 2006 to 46% in 2016.
