SHANGHAI, Sept. 15 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 aluminum took a nosedive on Friday morning, closing at 16,090 yuan/tonne before noon.

Deutsche Bank Sees Higher Aluminum Price on Tighter Supply

This drove suppliers in Guangdong spot market to cut offers to 16,110 yuan/tonne, down from 16,200-16,230 yuan/tonne traded before the slump in futures market.

NBS: China August Aluminum Output Hits Lowest since April 2016

Trading cooled down as lower prices triggered strong bearishness.
