SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) – China’s tax department and Ministry of Environmental Protection are now coordinating closely to pave way for implementation of upcoming environmental protection tax.
The tax will take effect from January next year.
Preparatory work is now under way, such as handover of information of pollutant discharge companies, and development of information sharing platform management system.
Environmental protection tax implementation rules will be submitted to the State Council for review soon.
