SHANGHAI, Sept. 13 (SMM) – An explosion occurred at the world’s second largest polysilicon manufacturer Wacker’s production base in the US, forcing the plant to suspend production.
Disruptions at the plant, which has a capacity of over 20,000 tonnes per annum, will send shock waves to global polysilicon supply, China Securities reported.
