SHANGHAI, Sept. 13 (SMM) – Following maintenance at Xing’an Chemical in August, another two alumina producers did the same in September due to tight bauxite supply, SMM learned.

China Alumina Output Jumps in August, Despite Ore Shortage, SMM Reports

This will reduce output by 50,000 tonnes at these two plants, SMM estimates.
