Air pollution intensified checks in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and nearby regions has lasted for five months.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 11 (SMM) – Air pollution intensified checks in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and nearby regions has lasted for five months.

The inspections are regarded as the toughest ever action in China’s environmental protection history.

Among the over 40,000 companies visited by inspection team, more than 20,000 companies were found with environmental issues.
