Metals Prices Plunge across the Board on Strong Market Panic

Metals futures prices tumbled across the board on September 8 due to strong market panic.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) – Metals futures prices tumbled across the board on September 8 due to strong market panic.

SHFE rebar and hot-rolled coil slumped nearly 2%, and DCE iron ore dived nearly 3%.

Ferrous Metals Futures Rebound Across the Board, with Coke Surging 4%

SHFE base metals prices hovered at lows in the morning, and plunged at around 2:00 pm, with the exception of tin. SHFE base metals tumbled over 2%.

SHFE 1711 copper tumbled 2.47% at one point.
