Large-scale Secondary Lead Plants May Close on Production Safety Checks, SMM Reports

China’s 19th CPC National Congress is going to be held in October, and many small secondary lead plants, without licenses, will likely close for environmental protection and safety production checks.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) – The 4th round of central environmental protection inspections will come to end on September 11, and in recent days, China’s State Council released the notice of nation-wide production safety checks in September. 

The inspection results will be one part of assessing local governments’ safety production work.
