SHANGHAI, Sept. 5 (SMM) – Major rare earth producers and traders raised offers to closer to listed prices of products released Monday by Baotou Steel Rare-Earth International Trading.
Currently, price for didymium oxide was mainly about 500,000-520,000 yuan per tonne, and that of praseodymium-neodymium alloy was at 630,000-680,000 yuan per tonne.
In recent days, rare earth downstream producers showed low buying interest and mainly took a wait-and-see stance, with sparse offers and transactions heard.
On Wednesday, prices of rare earth oxides held largely stable, waiting for further market direction.
