Non-ferrous Metals Open Lower, with SHFE Zinc Tumbling by over 4 per cent

Nonferrous metals futures market opened Wednesday’s trading lower, with SHFE zinc sliding by more than 4 per cent.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 5 (SMM) – Nonferrous metals futures market opened Wednesday’s trading lower, with SHFE zinc sliding by more than 4 per cent. 

SHFE zinc was off 3 per cent, and silicon manganese price on the ZCE, iron ore on the DCE and nickel on the SHFE dipped by over 2 per cent. SHFE nickel, aluminum, hot-rolled and rebar was down by 1 per cent. Other products, including SHFE copper, SHFE tin, ZCE coal and DCE coking coal, also moved lower.

SHFE gold and DCE coke increased, though.
