Domestic zinc concentrated TCs fell 50 yuan per tonne on average in Inner Mongolia due to supply tightness, SMM understands.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 5 (SMM) – Domestic zinc concentrated TCs fell 50 yuan per tonne on average in Inner Mongolia due to supply tightness, SMM understands.

Meanwhile, zinc smelters build stocks actively in preparation for winter production. This also explains the fall in TCs.

As of this Friday, Ningbo spot prices against the 2610 contract were quoted at a discount of 55 yuan/mt, and at a premium of 45 yuan/mt against the Shanghai premium.

[소비 부진 지속; 아연도금 가동률 낮은 수준 유지]: 이번 주 아연도금 업계 가동률은 51.80%로 전주 대비 0.17%포인트 상승했다. 원자재 측면에서는 이번 주 아연 가격이 고점에서 횡보를 이어갔다. 하류 업체들의 고가 수용도가 낮아 주로 필요에 따른 구매에 그쳤고 관망 심리가 강했다. 원자재 재고는 전반적으로 낮은 수준을 유지했으며 비축 의향도 제한적이었다.
