SHANGHAI, Sept. 5 (SMM) – PT Antam and Central Omega are expected to be given permission by Indonesian government to export nickel ore soon, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

Specific time and export quota remains known so far. The expansion of export list will weigh down nickel price, SMM foresees.

Indonesia Issues New Nickel Ore Export Quota

At present, export quotas of nickel ore allowed by Indonesian government are 8.14 million wet tonnes, and are estimated to grow up to above 10 million wet tonnes in the future.
