Peru to Solicit Bid for Michiquillay $2 Bln Worth of Cu-Mo-Au-Ag Project Soon

Peru’s government plans to solicit bid for Michiquillay Cu-Mo-Au-Ag project with investment of $2 billion on November 16, BNAmericas reported.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 5 (SMM) - Peru’s government plans to solicit bid for Michiquillay Cu-Mo-Au-Ag project with investment of $2 billion on November 16, BNAmericas reported.

The project is located in Cajamarca, covering 4,050 hectares. Its copper reserves total 1.16 million tonnes based on the 0.4% cutoff grade, with average grade of 0.629%.

Designed beneficiation capacity is 80,000 tonnes per day, with copper output of 200,000 tonnes per annum.
