Onshore Yuan Hits Nearly 16-Month High

Chinese yuan’s exchange rate against US dollar closed at 6.5200 in onshore market, the highest closing price since May 12, 2016.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 4 (SMM) – Chinese yuan’s exchange rate against US dollar closed at 6.5200 in onshore market, the highest closing price since May 12, 2016.

The figure was up 479 basis points from closing price of daytime session in the previous trading day and up 396 basis points from closing price of night session in previous trading day.
