Spot premiums of domestic and imported zinc dropped rapidly due to inflows of imported zinc and weak downstream buying interest, SMM reports.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 1 (SMM) – Spot premiums of domestic and imported zinc dropped rapidly due to inflows of imported zinc and weak downstream buying interest, SMM reports.

Spot premiums of regular #0 zinc are 20-170 yuan per tonne over September zinc on the SHFE on September 1.

#0 zinc traded between 26,040-26,220 in Shanghai on September 1.
