CSLC: China Steel PMI in Expansion Territory for Four Consecutive Months in August

China’s steel PMI has been in expansion territory for four months in a row in August, according to China Steel Logistics Committee (CSLC).

SHANGHAI, Aug. 31 (SMM) – China’s steel PMI has been in expansion territory for four months in a row in August, according to China Steel Logistics Committee (CSLC).

The steel PMI was 57.2% in August, up 2.3 percentage points from July. The figure is close to the high of 57.3% reached in April 2016.
