SHANGHAI, Aug. 31 (SMM) – Tsingshan’s NPI shipments coming from Indonesian project fell in July on a monthly basis, Shanghai Metals Market learns.
The July’s shipments dropped from 110,000 tonnes in June to 70,000 tonnes in July, according to China Customs.
The decline was mainly because of trial operations at its steel-making project in Indonesia, with output around 70,000-80,000 tonnes.
Its NPI shipments in August are expected to keep falling in August, and the company’s steel production will be roughly judged by its shipments to China.
