China to See More Iron Ore Arrive; Shipments from Australia and Brazil to Tumble

Iron ore arrivals at 24 major ports in China will hit 13.18 million tonnes during August 24-September 7, up 398,000 tonnes from the August 17-31 period, SMM estimates. 

SHANGHAI, Aug. 30 (SMM) – Iron ore arrivals at 24 major ports in China will hit 13.18 million tonnes during August 24-September 7, up 398,000 tonnes from the August 17-31 period, SMM estimates. 

In the same period, the amount of iron ore departed from Australia and Brazil will fall sharply, SMM predicts.
