Recently, Hebei Provincial Government has carried out environmental protection and quality inspections.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 29 (SMM) – Recently, Hebei Provincial Government has carried out environmental protection and quality inspections.

It is heard that almost all small and medium wire&cable producers in the region, with or without production licenses, have halted production, with some being cut out of power. Only some large ones after meeting standards are running normally.

One Alumina Plant in Chongqing to Increase Output on Price Rises

Heibei’s Ningjin and Renqiu are home to many small wire&cable plants. The round of inspections will wrap up until the end of the 19thCPC National Congress.

SHFE Copper Warrants Rise by 3,599 MT, Mainly in Shanghai Area

[SMM Copper Flash] During the day, the SHFE warrant daily report showed that copper futures warrants increased by 3,599 mt to 319,087 mt. The increase was mainly in the Shanghai area; data showed that the Shanghai area increased by 4,103 mt to 167,865 mt, while the Jiangsu area decreased by 504 mt to 95,150 mt.
